Exercise Physiology an Essential Service

The Australian Federal Government has implemented Phase 2 of business shutdowns in response to preventing the spread of COVID-19 within our community.

Gymnasium closures were mandated as part of this Phase 2 initiative.  In direction to this initiative and in keeping with our desire to prevent the spread of the CoronaVirus; Inspire Fitness closed our gym services as of 12noon Monday 23rd March 2020.

Our gym services will resume when government authorities allow this within the Australian community.

Exercise Physiology delivered in the treatment of chronic disease and / or injury through exercise has been deemed an essential service – and can continue to operate at this time.

Greg Hunt the federal health minister is supportive of clients continuing to seek treatment by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist through face to face delivery.

In keeping with this direction from the health minister, Inspire Fitness for Wellbeing is continuing to deliver our Exercise Physiology sessions (face to face) within the private gym set up in North Balwyn.

Our Exercise Physiology service delivery will continue at this time in compliance with the federal government’s guidelines.

The Inspire Fitness exercise physiology team maintain social distancing guidelines (1.5 meters) and maintain the rigorous sanitation procedures implemented for the safety of our clients and team.
