Profile: Brendan Rigby Bach Appl.Sci (HM) (hons.)
Brendan completed his Human Movement degree with Honors in 1996 and has 12 years experience
in personal training and sports specific conditioning. Brendan is the director of Inspire
Fitness, established in 2001 to provide a high level of expertise and service in personal
training and exercise conditioning, and has built Inspire into the success it is today.
Brendan has a passion for working and motivating individuals of all walks of life to achieve
a higher sense of health and wellbeing. Having worked with elite junior development squads at
Tennis Victoria in 2005 and 2006, Brendan brings his expertise and enthusiasm into tailoring
individual exercise plans into all his training sessions.
Profile: Myles Brown Bach Appl Sci (HM)
Myles completed his Exercise Science degree at Victoria University in 2005 and was awarded the
2005 ACHPER prize for the most outstanding student. Myles undertook a prestigious traineeship
with the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) in 2006, advancing his expertise in the area of
corrective exercise and prescription.
Myles joined the Inspire training team in 2006 providing exert guidance and knowledge in tailoring
individual exercise and fitness programs.
Profile: Daniel Lowrey Bach . Ex.Sci. (HM), Grad. Dip. App. ExSc (Ex.Prescipt)
Daniel joined the Inspire training team in 2007 with a graduate Degree in Exercise Science and a Post
Graduate Diploma in exercise prescription (rehabilitation). In 2006 Daniel was appointed the weights
coach of the Calder Cannons FC in the under 18’s competition, and in 2007 worked as the assistant weights
coach and rehabilitation coordinator at North Melbourne FC in the AFL.
Daniel brings his experience with working with elite athletes and the general population into his personal
training sessions, providing an enjoyable and structured fitness plan.
Profile: Emma Collins Bachelor of Exercise Science
Emma joined the Inspire Fitness team in 2008 after graduating from a
Bachelor of Exercise Science degree at Australian Catholic University. She has been working
in the fitness industry for 3 years both at woman’s gyms and in a rehabilitation clinic in
the capacity of a corrective exercise therapist. Currently Emma is undertaking a post-graduate
degree in Exercise Prescription and Rehabilitation, advancing her skills in the fields of
corrective and rehabilitation exercise. Emma combines her professional qualifications with
her passion for health and wellbeing through exercise.
Profile: Peter Connolly Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach, Cert III, Cert IV in Fitness
Peter has worked as a strength and conditioning coach and as a personal
trainer for the past 12 years. Peter has experience teaching mat and reformer Pilates as well
as applying Pilates principals to Personal Training. He has spent the past 4 years applying
corrective exercise techniques to clients improving their posture, movement patterns and quality
of life.
Peter’s sessions are progressive and enjoyable, his holistic approach to health and fitness ensure your
goals are achieved, whether you are looking to maintain your health & fitness, enhance your recovery
from injury or increase your athletic performance.
In the past Peter has been involved with National Basketball and Swimming as well as conditioning
martial artists (karate and kickboxing) for competition.
Profile: Rachelle Pitard Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Grad. Dip (Exercise Rehab)
Having joined as a team member early 2010, Rachelle brings to Inspire Fitness an expertise
in exercise rehabilitation and postural correction. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Exercise
Rehabilitation (Ballarat Uni) and is also currently working with neuromuscular patients at Epworth Rehabilitation
Centre. Rachelle has worked with a broad range of clients with varying abilities; including the Ballarat Rebels
Football Club as a sports trainer and Ballarat Special School with disabled people. Her aim is to assist clients
to improve their health and wellbeing at a pace to suit them by designing individual programs to cater for all
levels of fitness including clients with injuries and illness.
Profile: Adam Sheedy Bachelor of Buis. (acc.), Certificate III and VI in Fitness
Adam has been a personal trainer since 2006 after moving across from his previous
professional life in the corporate world. Adam brings passion, expertise and many years of experience with
strength and conditioning into his personal training sessions. Adam is also currently a senior lecturer in
the certificate III and IV fitness course, training others with his expertise in one-on-one training. In this
capacity, Adam has been successful in coaching, motivating and educating students to become successful personal
trainers.
Adam joined the Inspire team in 2008 and has since helped clients achieve their goals. Adam is passionate about
weight loss, nutrition, postural correction, sports specific training and muscle hypertrophy.
Profile: Rory Scott Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Grad. Dip (Exercise Rehab)
Rory joined the Inspire Fitness team in 2010 and is currently completing his Masters in Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Rehabilitation). Rory has a passion for incorporating corrective and rehabilitation principles with improving client’s general fitness goals. His friendly personality and sense of humour combined with his academic knowledge ensure his clients work towards and achieve their goals.
